During the program\, attendees will learn the Islamic foundations of social justice\, the history of Muslim social justice movements\, and the various avenues for continuing such movements\, including through law\, policy\, civic engagement\, public speaking\, and social media. They will also gain the opportunity to interact with Imams\, elected officials\, mental health professionals\, activists\, and other advocacy experts. This workshop is ideal for anyone seeking to make a difference as a community member and/or as a future politician\, lawyer\, activist\, and more!
