About the Washington Muslim Survey
The Washington Muslim Survey is a research initiative started by CAIR-WA to better understand the demographics and experiences of Washington’s Muslim community. As the leading Muslim civil rights organization in the Northwest, CAIR-WA is often approached by the media, government, and policymakers to provide data on the state of Washington’s Muslim community.
There has historically been little data about the Muslim community in Washington. To collect information about the demographics, discrimination, and engagement of Washington’s Muslims, the Washington Muslim Survey was started.
The Washington Muslim Survey helps give voice to the Muslim community in Washington and provides data to help guide many of the organization’s initiatives and policy discussions.
